CHATTAHOOCHEE COUNCIL DISTRICTS
The Chattahoochee Council is divided into geographic areas known as Districts. These districts allow us to successfully manage the growth and success of the units within our territory. Currently, we have three districts that cover 15 counties across Alabama and Georgia. View the map below for more information about individual districts.
OUR OPERATIONS
Saugahatchee District
- Service Areas: Lee and Chambers Counties in east-central Alabama
- Roundtables: Held on the First Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. CST
- Location: Hosted at Trinity Church in Opelika, Ala.
George H. Lanier (GHL) District
- Service Areas: Harris, Talbot, Troup, Heard, and Meriwether counties in Georgia and the eastern time zone of Chambers County in Alabama
- Roundtables: Held on the First Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. EST
- Location (January to June): Hosted at Hopewell Methodist Church in Pine Mountain, Ga.
- Location (July to December): Hosted at First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, Ga.
Muskogee District
- Service Areas: Phenix City and Smiths Station in Lee and Russell Counties in Alabama, as well as the city of Columbus and surrounding counties of Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Marion, Webster, Stewart, Quitman and Randolph in Georgia
- Roundtables: Held on the First Thursday of the Month at 7 p.m. EST
- Location: Hosted at Hilton Terrace Baptist Church in Columbus, Ga.
