CAMP PROPERTIES
The Chattahoochee Council is divided into geographic areas known as Districts. These districts allow us to successfully manage the growth and success of the units within our territory. Currently, we have three districts that cover 15 counties across Alabama and Georgia. View the map below for more information about individual districts.
CAMP FRANK G. LUMPKIN
About This Camp
Nestled on 600 acres along the scenic shores of West Point Lake, Camp FGL is located just 15 miles northwest of LaGrange, Georgia—perfectly positioned between Atlanta and Birmingham on the Georgia-Alabama border.
Camp FGL host offers a diverse range of programs and is open year-round for reservations. From weekend campouts to multi-day retreats, our camp welcomes groups of all kinds and is ready to help you create a memorable outdoor experience.
Amenities and Lodging
- Chapel and Amphitheatre: Seats up to 600 people, often used for sermons and small concerts
- Dining Hall: Seats up to 325 people, includes a commercial kitchen and air conditioning
- Training Facility: Seats up to 100 people, includes a kitchenette and air conditioning
- Fort Bradshaw: Houses up to 110 people, features a dorm-style layout and air conditioning
- Campsites: Each of our seven campsites includes a covered pavilion with electricity and private restrooms
Outdoor Access
- Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool
- Rifle, archery and shotgun Ranges
- Waterfront access for jet skiing and boating activities
- 50-foot climbing and rappelling Tower
- C.O.P.E. Course with 20+ elements and zip line
CAMP GALLANT
About This Camp
For those who enjoy primitive camping, Camp Gallant is the preferred choice. Located near Camp FGL, this self-led camp provides a peaceful setting for campers who want to sharpen their outdoor skills. Activities like shooting sports and aquatics are available under the guidance of qualified leadership.

- Includes fire pits and picnic areas to support outdoor cooking and group gatherings.
Outdoor Access
- Wooded areas and lake access provide the ideal setting for survival camping and advanced Scout activities.

WEEKEND CAMPING RESERVATION FORMS
Reservations can be made by contacting the council office at 706-327-2634 or emailing the reservation form to info@chattahoocheecouncilsa.org. Please use the camp use forms below for reservation details. All reservation forms must be submitted 14 days in advance!
